If You Have a Dream... Keep Dreamin' It!

I loved this post from a friend on facebook, so thought I would post it in regards to starting this Mission!  When God puts something on your heart... you dream a dream, don't give up... Dreams can become Reality.  Anything is possible with God's help.

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.

Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.

Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.

Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.

Mission Team: Taylor Koal

Let me introduce Taylor Koal.  Taylor is from Alberta, Canada.  She spent a number of years with the organization Youth With a Mission and has traveled extensively as a missionary throughout Thailand, Scotland, Mexico, Costa Rica, The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.  She has 3 1/2 years of mission experience and looks forward to using her training and experience in leading groups on their mission experience! It is through missions and her time with Youth With a Mission that she describes falling in love with God and with serving Him. She states that through these experiences, along with God’s forgiveness and redemption, she has become a free and passionate person who strives to live purposefully.  

Team Board Member: Robbie Santis

As we are building our team, I will be introducing some of those who will be on our Mission team, as well as our Board of Directors for Mission: Hope. Here is an intro to our first Board member, Robbie Santis! Robbie is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College, with his degree in Missions! He has traveled extensively all over the world teaching, tutoring, event planning, doing outreach, and worship.  His travels have taken him to Sweden, China, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, England, The Netherlands, and Italy. I'm so blessed that Robbie is on our team and will be most likely leading the first group on their first mission with Mission: Hope.

A short bio of Robbie's journey: "Born and raised in Stuart, FL, I had the blessing to be raised by a Christian family that raised me in the way that I should go; from Christian school, Awanas, church, and always there was an environment of love in the home.  I always was a sweet kid and I was always a good kid, but it wasn't until I was 18 when I needed to have faith for the first time.  I remember that sin, depression, emptiness, thoughts of suicide, loneliness, and just an overall attitude of apathy had it's rule in my life.  I remember that God had started to pull away all the things that I found comfort in - in order that I would finally call out to Him and seek His voice.  I remember calling out to Jesus and remembering my need for Jesus, and I asked Him to save me from my turmoil.  He opened my eyes and He provided! He has lead me since then to step into roles of leadership, mentoring, and support in ministry. Life is not perfect and I am still prone to fail, but I know that He is wanting to use me for His purpose, so I am to trust and obey in however He leads, because it is the only way to freedom and the only way to build the kingdom, and fulfill what I was designed to do!"

Mission: HOPE exists to bring Glory to God in providing basic necessities to those in need.  Our desire is to provide mission trips to distant and not-so-distant lands, so that YOUR world will be turned upside down!  We are passionate about providing these trips and experiences... bringing HOPE to those who desperately hunger for a tidbit of LIFE, and it is OUR HOPE that you will come back home, completed altered, transformed and ready to make a difference in your own daily life.  Follow our journey on here... as we plan our first mission trip to Africa.  This is a trip YOU can go on... bringing hope to others.  Our Mission team has years of traveling experiences... having traveled to Africa, India, Great Britain, China, Korea, Russia and many other countries.  They are passionate in their faith and love for God, and want to continue to make a difference in this world.  Each member of our team work regular jobs, and take their vacation time to work on these trips, bringing HOPE to others.
